I am always trying to get the few magnets I have hold up multiple cards, save-the-dates, and memos on my refrigerator, however lately it has become a little out of control with wedding season in full swing. Cards are sliding down the refrigerator or falling off completely. When I traveled internationally I would bring home a magnet from each destination, but until I finish school and get the opportunity to travel again, I need more magnets. Stat. I gathered a few things around my apartment, picked up some heavy duty magnets at the store and started piecing together clothespin magnets.
- Fine Glitter
- Mod Podge
- Mixing bowl
- Super glue
- Mix fine glitter and mod podge in bowl. You want to see the glitter easily in the mod podge, but keep it a runny consistency so it can easily spread onto the clothespins. Apply coat to clothespins.
- Allow to dry. Add 1-2 more coats.
- Once dry, glue magnets onto back of clothespins.
These are very easy to make in large batches, and can be great for small gifts or to go on top of gifts.
