fabulous fall sessions

I am so excited for one of the best times of the year! Fall! I love the smell of pumpkin, the sounds of football and the colorful foliage. For those interested in engagement or annual family portraits, this is the perfect time to squeeze in a session before the hustle and bustle of the holidays…and while everyone still has that warm, summery glow. a day at the market

It is starting to become my favorite time of year. The weather lately has been unbelievable, and we were able to take advantage of it over the weekend by taking a trip to St. Louis’s local Soulard Farmer’s Market. I love the way this area captures St. Louis so perfectly: tunes from saxophone players on the street corners, fresh produce from local farmers, aromas of finger-licking good bbq, and the beautiful Budweiser clydesdales just up the street.

After strolling through the market, we came away with a dozen juicy clementine oranges for $1! So delicious, cannot wait to go back.

ashley’s headshots

Up until recently, the summer has been blazing hot this year, but we did manage to sneak in a quick headshot session of Ashley, one of St. Louis’s newest chiropractors. Sweet as can be, I had a great time shooting this session, meeting her fiance and hearing about their plans for their upcoming wedding next month!
